Can, yes you… You can

You can grieve what never fully existed

Relationships imagined, apologies you needed, a future that almost felt attainable.
Loss is still loss even when it was built mostly from hope

The person who made you feel replaceable does not get to define your worth, neither does their carelessness, and their feelings or statements are not a measurement

Their inability to choose you is not evidence against you. You do not become common because someone failed to recognize what was rare, worthy, and beautiful

People or places do not allow your wounds to close, many conversations keep putting you back where you started. Many times, healing requires distance from the hand that keeps touching the bruise

You might not realize it now, but one day the thing that hurt you the most will also become the thing that changed your standards forever

Pain has a strange way of teaching you what you will never tolerate again
You can tell when someone does not respect you by how often they need to be reminded to be careful with you

Respect does not need constant coaching.
If someone keeps needing instructions on how not to hurt you, they are choosing not to learn

A manipulator will mourn the consequence and ignore the cause. They will want sympathy for losing access. Do not let their reaction distract you from why you had to protect yourself

Move forward, start a new book; not just a new chapter
